Well the weekend was great, got out to the boat early before sunrise and was underway by 0600. Fished with John and Dan. Plan today was to mash to Rota Banks and go for tuna and marlin. Passed by Ritidian and stopped to chase the Bonita's. Bait was boiling so we made a couple passes. No action on the lines after a few rounds so we figured the tuna were small. Continued on to The banks and chased the birds. Dan and I landed two 8 lb Bonita then the birds decided it was nap time right at full high tide. Trolled around a little more, realized it was dead so headed to Pati. Dead as well. Decided to head towards 2 and passed Ritidian. Birds were going nuts, bait was everywhere, boils, put the lines out w smaller lures. Chased the schools. Dan and John put half a dozen more 5 lbers into the boat before we decided to call it quits. Had to set up for Moms bday dinner. Good times.
